China Launches One of the World's Largest Precision Nutrition Studies for Early Diabetes
A study from China, published in Nutrition Journal (2025), outlines a sweeping new research initiative that could change how doctors worldwide think about preventing type 2 diabetes in younger adults. Led by researchers at the China Agricultural University's Key Laboratory of Precision Nutrition and Food Quality in Beijing, the China Precision Nutrition Biobank (CPNB) aims to enroll up to 20,000 adults aged 18β40 across both urban and rural regions of China over the next decade.
