What This Research Is About
Not everyone's blood sugar reacts the same way to the same food. This study is designed to find out which staple foods β like white rice, brown rice, or pasta β cause the least blood sugar spike for each individual person with type 2 diabetes.
How the Study Works
Participants will eat 5 different staple foods in a random order, with each food tested 3 separate times. A continuous glucose monitor (CGM) checks blood sugar every 5 minutes after each meal, giving a detailed picture of how each food affects that specific person.
